How it works

1. Get in touch

The first step is to fill in the form on our Contact page or email Estelle at hello@wildcopyco.com. We’ll respond to your enquiry within two business days, with an option to book a discovery call to talk about working together.

2. Accept our proposal

We send you a proposal outlining deliverables, timelines and an exact quote. To go ahead and lock your project into our schedule, simply accept the proposal and make payment (usually 50% of the total fee).

3. Answer some questions about your ocean impact business

A detailed brief is the most important part of writing great website copy. But don’t worry if you haven’t briefed a copywriter before: we take the lead and know what to ask. To kick things off, you fill out a brand clarity questionnaire. Then, we need 90 minutes of your time on a briefing call, where we interview you to get a deeper understanding of your ocean startup.

4. Get words that do the selling for you

We go away and write your website so that it will turn passive visitors into paying customers and ocean champions. You get two rounds of revisions for any tweaks you’d like us to make. Once you’re happy, simply pay the final invoice, and we send you the final proofread copy deck that you can pass straight to your website designer to get your website another step closer to launch.

Ideally, your copy should come first, with the website design following. This ensures your content can guide the layout and user experience. However, if you already have a design, a copywriter can adjust their process to work with your existing site.
No, brand guidelines aren’t required to work with us. While we can use your existing guidelines if you have them, our website writing service includes a thorough briefing process that gives us all the information we need.
To kick things off, you’ll fill out a questionnaire to help us get clarity on your brand. Then we’ll book a 90-minute call, where we’ll ask thoughtful questions to get a deeper understanding of your ocean startup. If you have existing materials you'd like us to refer to, you can share them in the questionnaire, but if not, the call and our own research will give us everything we need.
Yes! If your website copy is almost there but needs a little refinement to turn it into high-converting messaging, we can work with what you already have and help sculpt it into something even more effective.
Sadly, this isn't our skill set! But we work closely with some brilliant website designers/developers who work in ocean innovation and would be happy to recommend someone who can help.
For website writing projects, 50% is due upfront to book your spot, and the remaining 50% is due when you receive your final deliverables. For audits, full payment is due upfront.
